In 1991, LY Furniture Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated and took over the operations of Lian Yu Furniture Co. In 1994. LY moved its manufacturing operations to a larger factory in Sri Gading Industrial Area with a total build up of 45,000 square feet.

From thereon, LY kept expanding. With larger work space, expanded workforce coupled with the acquisition of advanced machinery and equipment, the production capacity of LY kept increasing which enabled LY to meet the growing demand from the international market. As at to-date, LY owns/leases 23 factories with combined built-up area of approximately 1.8 million sq ft with more than 1,300 employees!

LY’s modern factories are well equipped with automated machineries which emphasize the safety of our employees. We continuously invest in high technology machines to enhance our production flexibility, accuracy and consistency to meet market needs.

LY operates 5 American Design Towline Finishing System which ranges from 2,400 to 5,000 feet long respectively and 1 Overhead Conveyor Hanging Line which is 2,700 feet long. With such finishing lines, we can deliver quality products for both small and large market orders.
